So easy, so carb-a-licioius. I made this dish in London to mix it up when rice just became too repetitive for meal prepping. I’ve made this recipe now with beef, shrimp, veggies and chicken and it all works! My Sesame Noodles are yummy hot or cold, they are perfect for meal prep and meals on the go. So, lets get to it!

Ingredients I Used

1 full bunch of green onions chopped (scallions)

img_2228One package (about 100g) of dried asian egg noodles or thin Chow Mein noodles (I use “Amy’s” because its organic and has the least amount of ingredients)

2 tbsp sesame seeds

2 tbs rice wine vinegar

1/2 tsp honey or sweetener of your choice

1 tsp tamari soy sauce

a pinch of salt

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1 clove of chopped garlic

1 tbsp. + 1 tsp. sesame oil

1/2 tbsp butter

Chopped cilantro for garnish

This Is How I Made It

Follow the instructions on the noodle package, under cook the noodles, “al dente.”

Then in a wok or a large frying pan heat the butter and throw the drained noodles in. On medium high add the garlic and all other ingredients. Toss quickly, garnish with cilantro and serve. This whole process is fast because the noodles are so delicate you don’t want to over cook them. The ingredients are light and fresh and this is a perfecto side to chicken, veg, shrimp or beef!

Have fun!!
