Skinny Monkey Bowl

In a world full of “Chunky Monkeys…” Be a little leaner! I created this super simple bowl because I started to see açaí and yogurt bowls in my clients calorie trackers that were uber high in calories with very little protein. Not that there is anything wrong with that but here’s another option that’s pretty damn delicious.

COCONUT ALMOND FUDGE:

INGREDIENTS I USED

2/3 cup 0% Fage Greek Yogurt (you can also use full fat, I used less..)

1 scoop high quality chocolate protein powder (I used Gnarly Whey)

1/2 tsp coco powder

1 banana

2 tbsp coconut flakes (unsweetened or sweetened. I used unsweetened)

2 tbsp roasted hazelnuts (or almonds)

3 tbsp shaved dark chocolate

2 tbsp coconut milk (I used silk original)

FOR THOSE TRACKING DIET

2 servings

Protein: 20 grams

Carb: 29 grams

Fat: 11 grams

Total calories: 295 (*you can lower the fat by decreasing the amount of nuts you use, or decrease the carbs by using just 1/2 banana)

THIS IS HOW I MADE IT

In a blender or food processor blend protein, coconut/or almond milk, yogurt and 1/2 of the banana. Scoop the mixture into a bowl and top with the rest of the banana and all the other yummy toppings! Boom, done! Super delicious treat with extra protein for your sexy muscles. Enjoy
